Judith van Mourik is involved in the design of the hotel as interior designer.

Relais & Châteaux is an association of privately owned hotels and restaurants worldwide, based in France and founded in 1954. Membership is by invitation only. Currently, more than 500 luxury boutique hotels, resorts, villas and gourmet restaurants worldwide are members of Relais & Châteaux.

We take hygiene and cleanliness standards and measures very seriously and will ensure at all times that the safety of our guests and staff is paramount.

Yes, there is a restaurant LIZZ* and a coffee, cocktail and champagne bar COCO in the hotel. Our casual fine dining restaurant LIZZ* is open daily (6:00 pm to 9:30 pm) for guests and visitors and so is our coffee and cocktail bar COCO (breakfast, lunch, high tea and cocktails).

Yes, there is a room service menu available in the hotel.

Yes, although we have an elegant and charming breakfast room, it is possible to have breakfast served in your room on request.

Wifi is available throughout the hotel. In each room you will find an SuitePad with free wifi access.

Although we do not have our own shuttle service, we are happy to arrange private transportation for you. We are happy to receive a request with your requirements from you.

The hotel does not have a private swimming pool. However, you will find public swimming pools in the center of Gouda.

Yes, all rooms have a safe and it is free of charge.

All rooms in the hotel are non-smoking rooms. It is also – in accordance with national regulations – not allowed to smoke in the public areas of the hotel.

Yes, we have a laundry and dry cleaning service. You must submit your request before 9:00am and you will receive your items back one day later before 9:00am.

Our front desk staff will be happy to inform you about the possibilities of banks in the area.

You can first drive to the hotel, drop off your luggage and collect your room key and then park your car. Of course you can also drive directly to the nearest car park.

A parking space at Klein Amerika must be reserved through the hotel reception and costs €25 per night.

From there it is a 5 minute (400 meters) walk to Relais & Châteaux Weeshuis Gouda

We do not have a locked bicycle shed for guests who come with a bicycle. You can park your bike in the street, around the church. We will ensure that your bicycle is stored in a locked room at night (from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.).

You can check in from 15:00 and check out until 11:00.

We are at your disposal 24/7 and are happy to welcome you, including after midnight.

Yes, based on availability. Would you like more information on late check-out? Please contact our Front Desk the evening before or the morning of your departure.

For items you have forgotten or lost at Weeshuis Gouda, bar COCO or restaurant LIZZ*, please always contact the reception desk. They will provide you with further information and/or help you on your way.

We can arrange various types of tours in Gouda or nearby cities for you. We are happy to help you with your restaurant or theater reservations or other bookings.

We love animals and therefore you may bring them along. However, this only applies to animals weighing less than 8 kilos. We also prefer to receive a request from you in advance.
