WSHS is a beautiful wedding venue in any season but during the winter months we go the extra mile. During this festive period, our facade is beautifully lit with thousands of lights and we also fully adapt our styling to this winter theme. We hope to welcome you for your Winter Wedding!

In both our grand ballroom, De Refter, or the 16th century Jeruzalemkapel – one of the most beautiful, intimate and best-preserved chapels in the Netherlands – “I do!” resonates more strongly than ever; and our fairytale courtyard is the perfect place to toast this moment. After the ceremony, our elegant cocktail & champagne bar COCO will lovingly create the wedding cake and, in De Refter, the Louis XIII style chairs will be adorned with ribbons and put on to enjoy a festive dinner with your loved ones. Later in the evening at our other location, LF-Gouda, the feet will dance across the floor and the hands will be in the air. Of course, you’ll end this fantastic day with your first night as newlyweds in our I DO Suite – the perfect start to your lives as a married couple.
All elements of your wedding will take place within a stone’s throw of each other, or even all within the WSHS property. Do you prefer something smaller? We can effortlessly transform our spaces into an intimate private dining room. The ladies can spend the night before the big day with us in The Powder Room where they get ready for the big day. And spending the morning of the ‘day after’ with some loved ones in a private setting and having a romantic breakfast is also a possibility. Just picture it – reminiscing about your wedding day with your loved ones over an exuberant breakfast in your own private space.
Our dedicated team of wedding planners are eager to hear your ideas and put together the perfect wedding day with you. They will ensure that every detail – from the damask table linen to the vases with lush flowers – is in perfect order.
