This winter, be enchanted by the elegance and refinement of Empress Elisabeth of Austria – better known as Sisi. In the historic setting of the Weeshuis, we celebrate the season with a Viennese Afternoon Tea full of charm, nostalgia, and exquisite flavors.
Step into the fairytale world of COCO, the cakeroom, where the styling is opulent and elegant – think velvet, crystal, and shimmer – reminiscent of the imperial court that once surrounded Sisi in Vienna.

The WSHS Signature Royal Afternoon tea is served on
Thursday to Sunday between 12pm and 5pm.
(On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you are welcome in our Museumcafé;
Gouda’s high tea café with a choice of 7 different teas!).
Reservations are required as only a few places are available each day due to the daily fresh pastries.
The price of the Royal Afternoon Tea is €42,50 per person.
Deposit is €20.00 p.p.
