Gouds Plateel was made by several plate factories. Gouds Plateel is unique and can be recognised by its expressive use of colour, floral images – both abstract and recognisable – and solid lines. Among other things, you will find various prints and graphic shapes in the design and the colours and décor determine the atmosphere. Both in all our graphic designs, and in the interiors.
Arrive on Wednesday with a warm welcome on our terrace with a Gouda delicacy. After this, you will take a look at the Plateelzaal in Museum Gouda. For dinner, we recommend booking a table at our fine dining restaurant LIZZ*. Afterwards, enjoy a night in our lovely rooms.
On Thursday, enjoy a delicious breakfast in our Historic Regentenkamer. After this, you will leave for Galerie De Hollandsche Maagd, where owner Anita will receive you for a creative painting lesson. And yes, you can take the result home with you! After this creative day, enjoy the second night in our rooms and start the day off right with our extensive breakfast.
